JAM WEEKEND 2025

If you are aged 16-25 and have an interest in music, the only place you need to be this season is at the COL Jam Weekend.

We are inviting 20 young people aged 16 - 25 to help us take over Fisher Gate Point, where we will have an entire weekend to jam and create some great music.

This project is a FREE opportunity and no previous experience is required.

Date: 10th - 11th May 2025

Location: Fisher Gate Point, 1 Fisher Gate, Nottingham, NG1 1GD.

Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to:

Contribute to the next COL music album, for release on the COL record label

Write songs for a Musical Theatre production

Access a series of creative workshops and mentorship

Record in HOAM music studio

Gain free RSL qualifications

Work alongside some of Nottinghams music legends

Perform live as part of the national COL tour

Join the COL development network and connect with a pool of local artists

COL are working to tackle underrepresentation and barriers to music and particularly encourage all women and gender expansive people of all backgrounds and experiences to apply. Our organisation operates a fully inclusive, diversity-driven policy to ensure that participants are given equal opportunities throughout all stages of the project, including the application process. If you are aged 25-30 and identify as neurodivergent, differently abled or are facing longterm illness you are welcome to apply.
