Heritage Sounds

When we were making plans for COL 3 we were certain that we wanted to offer even more exciting workshops and experiences than ever before, so when Kate Rounding suggested bringing Heritage Sounds to COL, it was a no brainer. Under the extensive knowledge and leadership of Naji Wavey and Education & Bass, the COL creatives learned the origin of popular modern music. In groups, they used old school vinyl sampling techniques to create their own tracks. What a way to spend the day! The track ideas that came out of this workshop were a great tribute to our musical ancestors. Watch the video below to see the creative process.
